Our Story
A four-year-old boy watches a WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) show on TV with awe on his face.
He makes sounds to accompany the action; bang, slam, gosh!
The mother watches the boy from an open-plan kitchen whilst pouring tea, a smile on her face contradicting her thoughts about the noise coming from the loud show! She gives the boy a mug of lukewarm tea and watches him gulping it down in ecstasy.
The show ends as the boy murmurs ‘John Cena’, ‘Hardcore Holly’, ‘Edge’...
The mother interrupts and asks “What would your name be if you were a wrestler?”
The boy looks her in the eye, thinking aloud and says; “smooth”,
“Smooth Tiger”.
What Tigers Do
We are a small group of tea enthusiasts formed under our brand, Smooth Tiger. Our founders include a visionary who states that she used to be a cinematographer, a teacher that swears he is a writer, and our muse who also happens to be the eponym for Smooth Tiger himself!
We wish to steer away from harmful-to-health beverages and smooth a path to wellness. Tigers care about nutritious, tasty beverages that are not loaded with tons of sugar. Change is coming in the form of a slow revolution. Storms are forming in and out of the teacup. An ancient drink with a super-fresh approach will be entering our lives. Tigers are alive.
